President
Mr. Ward has spent his entire professional career in aviation. He has broad experience in financial management and planning. He has a proven record of business and market growth as well as marketing analysis and business development. He has extensive operational experience with international companies.
Mr. Ward is President of Business Air located at the Denton Municipal Airport. Formerly was the executive vice president of Jet Associates who was an international aircraft sales and leasing company, served as executive vice president of Midway Aviation specializing in the air and ground transportation of sensitive bank documents and checks. He headed wholesale distributorship of aircraft electronics and avionics test equipment for North America and Europe.
Mr. Ward was awarded Business Man of the Year by the Denton area Chamber of Commerce. He is a share holder and serves on the board of directors of Jet Works Air Center and also has spoken at the NBAA National Convention on airport security.
Mr. Ward holds a Science Degree in Economics from Texas A & M University, Commerce. He holds a commercial pilot's license with instrument, multi- engine and rotorcraft-helicopter ratings. He is married and has two sons.
Chief Pilot
Rick is a second generation pilot. Like his father, he is conscious and serious regarding his pilot responsibilities. Rick began flying in 1986, and in 1997 started flying as a commercial pilot.
From 1997 to 1999, he was a flight instructor with North American Flight Academy at Denton Municipal Airport. Then from 1999 to 2001, he flew freight in twin engine aircraft for Texas Air Charter.
Rick was hired in 2001 by Business Air Management as a corporate pilot on the King Air. In 2003 he was promoted to Chief Pilot and has since acquired two jet type ratings and has flown over 6000 hours.
Rick and his wife Marilyn are involved in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation and enjoy spending time on their sailboat in Port Aransas, TX.
Director of Charter Sales

Rena has over 18 total years in aviation. She began her aviation career in the United States Air Force with 10 years working in operations, and later as an In-flight Air Refueling Specialist. Aircraft dispatching seemed to be the best choice for a transition into civilian life.
In 2002, she received her FAA dispatcher’s license and began dispatching for an on-demand part 135, 125, and 121 cargo company. With experience dispatching turbo-props, jets, and even helicopters she joined Business Air in 2008. After a short 10 months, she was promoted to Director of Charter Sales and works closely with the management team to ensure each flight is done safely and efficiently. She is directly responsible for client relations and marketing.
Rena is a member of TCAS (Texas Corporate Aircraft Schedulers), TYP (Texas Young Professionals) and is also a volunteer youth leader at her church. She received 2 air medals for air refueling flights flown in combat in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She is married and has a son and daughter.
VP of Operations

Our Director of maintenance started his aviation career at a Beechcraft airliner refurbishment station, and later served as a worldwide turbine engine rep on Pratt and Whitney small airliner engines. He is a prior military man, and his education is based in electronics and quality assurance. He has spent the last 15 years in the air charter industry with personal experience on a variety of corporate aircraft including Beechcraft, Hawker, Lear, Westwind, Citation, and Gulfstream. "Patman" is also an avid motorcyclist, who spends his off duty hours “adventure touring” and as a photojournalist for an international motorcycle magazine. He believes we should provide “sound maintenance with common sense”.
Customer Service Manager

Amy joined Business Air in October 2009. She has over 10 years of experience in the customer service field and has exceptional organizational skills. After a few months here, her professionalism and experience gained her the position of Customer Service Manager.
Amy began her career at an aviation company as a shipping clerk. She quickly moved into a position as customer service representative at a landing gear equipment manufacturer located here in Denton, TX. She later a took a position spending over 9 years assisting and maintaining the day to day operations and financials for a service company. During her time with the service company she acquired her accounting certificate through the University of North Texas.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys raising her children, reading and doing hair. She received her cosmetologist license while attending high school in Denton, TX. Amy and her husband also spend a lot of time volunteering in the city as well as coaching a little league baseball team.
FBO Manager
Kerry started his aviation career in 1980 at Dugosh Aircraft, sweeping hanger floors and pumping fuel in Kerrville, TX. After 32 years of climbing the Aviation ladder, Kerry has held a very diverse series of positions in the industry. These include Shift Supervisor and Quality Control Inspector for Qualitron Aero, Sales Representative and Field Service Tech with Fjord Aviation Fueling Products, and Chemical Product Manager for Hammonds Fuel Additives, which included being factory rep for Biobor JF and Prist as well as field trainer for Hammonds Injection Pumps. All were located in Houston TX. Other FBO positions include Line Service Manager at Kerrville Aviation, Kerrville TX, General Manager for Landmark Aviation at Wichita Falls TX and Cedar Rapids IA. The Cedar Rapids position included responsibilities of Station Manager for Allegiant Airlines. After an ownership change and corporate downsizing, Kerry returned home to Texas. He found his new home in August 2011 by joining the team at Business Air as FBO Manager.

Kerry is an avid fisherman, cook, golfer, and RC aircraft and helicopter pilot.
